Requirements for physical participation include wearing your own warm and festive clothing, you will also need sturdy footwear to reduce risks of slips
The safety of volunteers and the public is paramount, therefore you will need to follow instructions, such as wearing hi visibility vests. This is very important due to moving motor vehicles with loud sounds and lights causing children to be more careless and at risk of injury, as such you will need to be aware of your surroundings as you will have a duty of care to the public.
I understand that volunteering for physical work, means supporting the project in challenging conditions based on weather, time and locations. It is exhausting and we will need to be quick to keep up with the convoy.
